The ProtectedSeas team met with Dr. Carlos Galindo Leal, Director of Science Communication at CONABIO, and his team on October 10, 2019 to discuss the state of marine conservation in Mexico. CONABIO is the National Commission for Knowledge and Use of Biodiversity.

The team then presented its Mexico map and data to CONABIO staff and partners. Participants included high level staff from CONANP, the Protected Areas National Commission.
